Im looking forward to 2010. I believe this year will hold some fun and new exciting things for me. Good bye 2009…Hello 2010!

This Christmas was so fun to be with my little nephew Austin. He is so much fun and has a sweet personality. He drew on Grandma Karen’s chalkboard wall…fun to see his creativity come out!
Karen planed a nice get together to celebrate my Dad’s 50th birthday. I was able to go and help and hang out with my dad on this special milestone in his life. Here are some of the fun people that came to the party to celebrate. Love you Dad.
Oh man, I just had such a wonderful conversation with my best friend from High School. We have stayed in good touch with each other over the years. We have both gone through our ups and downs. She was having a downer day and to be the one she called made me feel good.
I started reflecting over many things that have happened in my life and decided to pull out one of my journals. I came to a page and I had written down a few things. This caught my eye.
Life is tough and it will break your heart, but keep going!
All my love my best friend!

I have come to realize how happy I am that I have kept a journal all my life. I recently gathered them all together and I have 17 journals! My first one was started February 24, 1992 and since that day I have not stopped writing. They are filled with lots of emotion and personal thoughts, special experiences, and lots of life lessons. Just recently I opened one up and a note fell out of it. It was a note my dad wrote me when I was going into my senior year of high school. The words he wrote me were so special and it made me realize how lucky I am to have a family who loves and supports me as much as mine!

I had a wonderful weekend in Wyoming with my family. It was a special treat to be able to see my little nephew Austin. He is such a cute and well behaved boy. I am so in love with him! My little sister has been such a wonderful mother to him….it is very humbling to my little sister being such a strong example of love and kindness. I also love her very much.

Im headed up to my home state WYOMING next week for Thanksgiving. I am really excited to see my family!
